Basic Prices:

 Price for either Summer package is $1,568.00 per person. ($3136.00 per couple)

 We provide:

All transportation from and to our local airport,
All food (including snacks)
All entrance fees to specialty sites (like the diamond mines)
 

All you need do is fly in to our local airport: Fort Smith Regional Airport (FSW). We can accommodate your travel to alternates such as Tulsa International (TUL) by arrangement.

 We will spend the week with you as guides on the 4-wheeler trails and forest roads. We do all the cooking and set up camps.

   Why follow the herds when planning your holiday getaway? In a single trip with us, you can have a great time combining several of our favorite pastimes here in the Ouachita's of Oklahoma. Lots of open space where you can stretch out and enjoy being outside without the roar of crowds of people under your feet.

  • We give you one of our side-by-sides to operate while on forest trails.  Riding 4-wheelers along forest roads and hidden trails,
  • Swimming in lakes under sunny bright blue skies,
  • Hunting for diamonds and getting to keep what you find,

  • The Ouachita River is used by families to enjoy a float trip for a day or overnight.  Floating down miles of shallow rivers in inflatable boats,

  • Enjoy primitive hiking camps deep in the woods,
  • Tent camping at lake sites (running water, electric and bathhouses, and swimming!),
  • A friend taking the opportunity to shoot our pistols in the back yard.  Target shooting on private land,
  • Day hiking sections of the 223 mile Ouachita National Recreation Trail,
  • Enjoy star-filled night skies without light pollution from cities (we have a telescope),

  • Take a deep breath and spread your arms without crowds,

  • In the quiet of the Ouachita National Forest.

  Hi, my name is Mike and for years when my British friends have visited we go camping and hiking, riding 4-wheelers through the woods, swimming in the lakes and rivers, hunting for diamonds at the world's only open-to-the-public mine and relaxing around campfires. At night, when we look up, we see a bright starry heaven that stretches from horizon to horizon without lights from cities to bother us. Our swimming lakes have sandy shores perfect for wading through cool water in the heat of the summer and deeper areas with diving docks for the more adventurous. We can paddle around in small boats and watch bald eagles and hawks riding the breezes.

 Some of our friends come back year after year just to be able to take a deep breath without crowds - enjoying the endless opportunities for solitude in our forests. You can hike our forest trails without seeing another person all day long. Even when we ride our 4-wheelers there are miles of open forest trails where you might not meet anyone else. Before they leave we always look at a calendar to see when they can get back.

 So, that is what we are offering to you. We will take you on 5-night/6-day holiday trip through the Ouachita's just like our friends experience with us. Each day can be something different or you can ask that we concentrate on just one or two activities. We will pick you up from the airport of your choice and get you back at the end of your trip. We cover Fort Smith (FSW), Northwest Arkansas Regional (NWA) or even Tulsa (TUL). We will provide all your food, snacks, entrance fees (for parks and other features) and transportation needs for the entire time you're with us. The only thing you might need some extra cash for are souvenirs.

 Here are sample weeks of fun.

 Summer Holiday A

  Thursday - Arrive at the local airport where we will pick you up and take you straight to your lake campsite. 
  Friday - ride 4-wheelers along miles of forest roads and trails. Camping at the lake for the evening.
  Saturday - Diamond hunting at the mines (keep what you find). Camp at a lake for the evening.
  Sunday - One day float trip down the Ouachita River. Enjoy your evening on the river or at a lake.
  Monday options - day at a lake, ride 4-wheelers, or tour local attractions (Heavener Runestone, Spiro Mounds, Cavanaugh)
  Tuesday - Return to airport for your flight.
 

 Summer Holiday B

  Thursday - Arrive at the local airport where we will pick you up and take you straight to your lake campsite.
  Friday - ride 4-wheelers along miles of forest roads and trails. Primitive camping in the woods.
  Saturday - 4-wheeler out to our pickup point. Camping at the lake for the evening.
  Sunday - Diamond hunting at the mines (keep what you find). Camping at a lake for the evening.
  Monday options - day at the lake, ride 4-wheelers, or tour local attractions (Heavener Runestone, Spiro Mounds, Cavanaugh)
  Tuesday - Return to airport for your flight.
